Carlos Plascencia
Owner & Personal Trainer
Growing up I was always involved in sports and enjoyed being active. Primarily I played football and trained in boxing. Early in my pre teen years I became less active which eventually led me to become overweight and although in high school I played football, I was a still a pretty big kid. My senior year in high school I began focusing on my health in order to lose some weight. I began making better food choices and I started exercising/weight training. I lost a bit over 40 lbs on my own before I began my freshman year of college, this is when I fell in love with fitness and new I would make this my passion. I attended Cal State University Northridge, where I was a part of the boxing team for 2 years and my senior year I helped coach the new incoming boxing athletes mostly with the strength and conditioning part of their training. I earned my degree in Kinesiology specializing in Applied Fitness. Immediately after graduating I got certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and later by NCCPT. I began working as a personal trainer at corporate gyms. I was so inspired by the progress my clients were making which motivated me to participate in bodybuilding competitions and push my body transformation to the next level. I also coached two of my female clients into their first bodybuilding competition. After sometime of perfecting my craft I decided to go out on my own and build my own business. With a bit over 10 years of experience in training/coaching, I've been working with different types of clients and athletes. I am really well rounded when it comes to my coaching and helping meet my client's goals. I specialize in strength training and weight loss/body transformation. My new passion is teaching others to make better health choices and helping change their lives.
